Reborn to Unveil the Deceitful Plot

Reborn to Unveil the Deceitful Plot

Violet, don't forget to go feed Susan's dog today. The voice of Yohan Coleman came from the other end of the phone, and I would never forget his voice for the rest of my life.
I stood there, stunned, looking at the scene in front of me in disbelief.
The exciting song Jingle Bells came from outside the window as if the excitement of Christmas hadn't completely dissipated.
I rushed to the mirror and saw that my face was as smooth as new, without any scars.
I finally realized that I had been reborn.
"Violet! Violet, are you still there?" Yohan raised his voice when he didn't hear my response.
"I'm not feeling well today and can't go to feed it. Ask her to find a way on her own," I said.
Hearing this, Yohan immediately sounded unhappy. "Susan has gone back to her hometown. If you don't go, Debra will starve. You usually love feeding the stray cats on the street. Why are you refusing to feed a dog now?"
I sneered, "I was bitten by a dog when I was a kid, so I'm afraid of dogs. I can't go today. You can ask her to find someone else online to go to her place and feed the dog."
Yohan retorted, "No way. Susan is a single girl living alone. How can she let strangers into her house? You're also a girl. Don't you have any empathy?"
Seeing that I was so determined, Yohan quickly softened his tone. "Since you're not feeling well, you can rest at home. I'll send the dog to your place. Just take care of it for a few days, and I'll pay you according to the market price. Is that okay?"
My heart, which had just been put at ease, instantly tightened again.
I was living with my parents. If that vicious dog was sent to our door, the three of us might end up losing our lives.
I wanted to dig out Yohan's heart to see what color it was.
I forced a smile, saying, "Forget it. Aren't you going back to your hometown with your dad? I'll do this favor for you. Don't talk about money. It makes us seem so distant."
Yohan laughed, "I'll thank you on behalf of Susan. When she comes back, I'll ask her to invite you to dinner."
After hanging up the phone, I sat down, covering my heart, and gasped for breath.
It was Christmas, and my parents had made an appointment with relatives to go out to play cards. There were still gifts sent by relatives on the ground.
Looking at those gifts, I got an idea.
I took two boxes of wine and a box of seafood from home and drove to Yohan's house.
Then, I knocked on the door.
Only Yohan's mother, Donna Coleman, was at home. Because she had a bad relationship with Yohan's grandparents when she was young, she never went back to their hometown to worship them.
Perhaps for this reason, now that she was in charge, she also found me disagreeable in every way.
Donna said, "My son hasn't decided to marry you yet. It's not appropriate for you to come to the door with gifts. Take them back."
I smiled, "Mrs. Donna Coleman, whether Yohan and I will get married or not, you're still my elder. I can't take back the gifts I gave to an elder. If these things don't suit your taste, I'll accompany you out to pick some. You can buy whatever you like."
I had a sincere expression and didn't show any sign of unhappiness. So Donna couldn't say anything more.
Now, hearing that I would accompany her out to buy whatever she wanted, after a little reluctance, she was led out by me.

Sitting in the car, I tightly grasped the steering wheel with both hands. Scenes from my previous life kept flashing through my mind.
When I was with Yohan, I knew he had a childhood friend named Susan Morgan whom he had known since they were kids.
But over the years, Yohan had always been careful to keep a proper distance, and they were just good friends. So, I let down my guard.
In my previous life, Susan's family had gone on a vacation to Seabay and left their pet dog, Debra, at home, entrusting Yohan to take care of it.
But Yohan went back to his hometown with his father, Wesley Coleman, to pay respects to his grandparents at their graves.
So, the task of feeding Debra fell on me.
I had thought that since Susan was such a delicate-looking girl, the dog she raised should be small and cute.
But when I arrived at her house, as soon as the door opened a crack, it was pushed wide open by a huge force, and I was knocked to the ground.
Before I could get up, a pit bull opened its big jaws and pounced on me, biting me frantically.
I felt intense pain all over my body as if the flesh was being torn off. I could only scream and struggle desperately.
Just then, someone heard my cries for help, rushed out with a kitchen knife, and struck the dog on the head.
The pit bull, in pain, let go of me. The kind-hearted person took the opportunity to drag me into his house and contacted the ambulance and the police.
Even after being struck, the vicious dog remained energetic and barked wildly at the stairwell. The doctors didn't dare to come upstairs.
In the end, the police had to shoot it dead, and I was sent to the hospital.
A large piece of flesh was bitten off my face, leaving a terrifying wound. Even my finger was bitten off and swallowed by the vicious dog, and it could never be repaired.
Before I could go and settle the score with Susan, she came to me on her own.
"Violet, I'm so sorry. I don't know why Debra bit you. It's usually so obedient," she said, crying.
Yohan followed closely behind, yanked Susan up from the ground, and protected her behind him.
He frowned at me and said, "It must be your wrong way of feeding that made Debra angry. Susan almost fainted from crying when she knew you were injured. Don't be so petty and stop arguing with her."
Then, Yohan added in a condescending tone, "Even though you're disfigured, I won't abandon you."
When Yohan saw that I didn't listen to him, he got angry. He took out a mirror and held it in front of me. "Look at yourself. You look like a monster. Besides me, who else would want you? If you keep being unreasonable, we'll break up."
Looking at my hideous face in the mirror, I felt my heart sink to the bottom. I had searched online. With such a big wound, even after undergoing plastic surgery, there would still be scars, and I would never be the same as before.
After that, I smashed all the mirrors in my house and stayed at home, not going out every day.
Eventually, I even developed severe depression. I climbed to the top of a tall building and jumped off.
After my death, my soul floated to Yohan's side, and I saw him and Susan embracing each other.
After hearing the news of my death, both of them showed satisfied smiles.
Susan even said, "Honey, you told me to starve Debra for a few days in advance. You're so smart. I wanted that beast to bite her to death. But unexpectedly, she was lucky enough to survive. Now that she's finally dead, we can be together openly."
Only then did I realize that it was their plan.
I swore in my heart that if I could have a chance to do it all over again, I would make sure these two scoundrels got what they deserved.
Unexpectedly, God heard my wish and really gave me a chance.
Since that was the case, I would send these two heartless people to hell.

I drove Donna to the mall, and it was already dark by the time we came out.
On the other side, Susan noticed from the home surveillance that I hadn't gone to feed the dog yet. She thought I wasn't going to come, so she quickly found Yohan to discuss.
Just as I was about to drive Donna back, Yohan called me. I put it on speaker on purpose so Donna could hear as well.
Yohan said, "Violet, didn't you say you'd go feed Susan's dog? Did you forget?"
I pretended to be shocked. "Oh, no. I didn't remember until you mentioned it. I'll go right now."
Yohan replied, "Well, hurry up then. Don't be late."
After hanging up the phone, I said to Donna with an apologetic look, "I'm sorry, Mrs. Donna Coleman. I forgot that Susan asked me to feed her dog. How about we go to her place first and then I'll take you home?"
Donna had watched Susan grow up and had a much deeper affection for her than for me. Hearing that we were going to Susan's place, Donna agreed without thinking.
All my efforts today were finally paying off, and I finally got Donna there.
In my last life, after I got disfigured, Donna had come to humiliate me, telling me to stay away from Yohan as soon as possible.
She said she would never allow a hideous person to marry Yohan and that Susan was the Yohan's wife she had long approved of, blaming me for getting in the way.
When we got to the downstairs of Susan's house building and were about to enter the elevator, I turned to Donna and said, "Mrs. Donna Coleman, I think I left my phone in the car. Why don't you go up first?"
Just then, the elevator arrived, so Donna went up first. I stood outside, looking at her with a smile.
After she left, I took another elevator to the floor below Susan's and was about to go up the stairs.
But as I got out of the elevator, I heard a shrill scream.
"Ah! Help!" It was Donna's voice.
I hid in the stairwell. Even though there was a door between us, the screams still clearly reached my ears. Besides, there were also a few barks from the dog.
I pressed against the door tightly, afraid that the beast would smell me and attack. At the same time, I called the police right away.
Donna's screams soon attracted the attention of the neighbors. Maybe because the time was different in this life, the kind-hearted neighbor who had saved me wasn't home at that moment, and no one dared to step forward to help.
The pit bull was a fierce breed of dog, and it was prohibited to raise it in the urban area. I didn't know how Susan had managed to sneak it in.
The dog was as tall as an adult woman when it stood up. And it had been starved for several days. With Donna's body, she might not even be enough for it to eat.
The police arrived quickly, and it took them some effort to kill the dog.
Donna was lying on the ground, covered in wounds. It seemed she was seriously injured.
The property management staff, seeing this scene, was so scared that his legs went weak and immediately called Susan, saying, "Ms. Morgan, your dog bit someone. Come back and deal with it quickly."
Susan's voice was excited. "How could this happen? I'll come back right away."
She didn't know yet that the person being bitten wasn't me.

I showed up at the right time, forced out a few tears, and went to the hospital with the ambulance.
I stayed in the hospital, bustling around all night. When my parents heard about it, they rushed to the hospital, too. They finally relaxed when they made sure I was okay.
Donna's surgery took several hours. When she was wheeled out, her whole body was wrapped in bandages, with only her eyes showing.
Susan rushed back from Seabay, and Yohan, of course, came with her. When they met, the excitement on their faces was hard to hide.
After all, there was still a huge pool of blood outside the door that hadn't been cleaned up, and they could imagine how badly I was hurt.
The two soon arrived at the hospital. Before they entered the ward, they ran into my parents outside.
Yohan immediately put on a solemn expression and asked, "How is Violet? Is she okay?"
I had already told my parents in advance what to do, so they didn't say much and just patted him on the shoulder, saying, "Go and see for yourself."
The two walked in and saw what looked like a mummy lying on the hospital bed.
When Donna saw Susan walking in, she immediately widened her eyes, and a hoarse voice came from her throat.
"Violet, how could you be hurt so badly?" Yohan stepped forward and feigned concern for a bit and then got to the point right away.
He said, "Susan rushed back overnight when she heard you were hurt. Don't be too harsh on her, okay?"
Susan stood beside him, her eyes red from crying. She took Donna's bandage-wrapped hand and said, "Violet, I'm so sorry. Debra was always so obedient. I don't know why she turned out like this."
Hearing this, Donna was so angry that she almost spat blood, but she couldn't say anything. All that came out was a growl from her throat as she yanked her hand back.
Seeing this, Yohan stood up and accused the person on the bed. "It must be the way you fed Debra that made it bite you. It's your fault. You're just injured, but Debra lost her life."
Donna had never expected Yohan to say such things. She stared at him with her eyes wide open, and her voice became even shriller. "Get out! You... you two!"
Seeing that she wouldn't let it go, Yohan decided to give her the final blow. He took out a mirror and held it up to her. "Look at yourself now. Your face is all mangled by the dog. Who else would want you besides me? I'm even scared to look at you. I'd have nightmares. If I were you, I couldn't live like this. It'd be better to die than to be so hideous."
Yohan kept humiliating the person on the bed, wishing she would die from anger after hearing these words so that he could achieve his goal.
Just then, I walked in carrying a thermos. "Honey, what are you mumbling about?"
